Surely the Union should be interested in keeping its members employed rather than undermining common sense.
 
And the banks & mines too, I suppose. These so called unions are run by imbeciles of the darkest kind.
 
CWU my boys, you are a union, stick to looking after your members (which you're pretty fekking pisspoor at anyway) and leave the actual real thinking to people who have the brains and realise what needs to happen.

Telecommunications under state control in this country would be a BAD thing for this whole country, and a very very bad thing for your members.
 
Unions should be under state control so we can export them to Ruskie Gulag camps.

But that's exactly what they're doing. The state does not retrench or care about efficiencies they'd have jobs for life.

um no thousands of retrenched civil servants would dispute that. The state might be slow to dismiss employees for nonperformance it does retrench en mass.
