Users pay R10 a day for as much television as they like, with a January 31 cut-off date for that discount price quietly slipping by.
MyADSL founder Rudolph Muller maintains that viewers accessing TV using a tuner card should not have to pay a TV licence, and is polling his readers on the issue.
At the time of publication, 66% of MyADSL subscribers felt they should not have to pay for TV.

The phone has to hunt constantly for a better signal, causing the battery life to shorten. And now comes this new gimmick! The cheapest thing is to buy a TV set and use your mobile to make calls/sms'. If I'm somewhere in the mountains hiking the last thing I want to do is finish my battery on some stupid soapy.
Dozens of trials in the last year have shown the mobile industry that consumers enjoy mobile TV and, more importantly, that they are willing to pay from 5 to 10 euros a month for it.
