Information to the PEOPLE

No, the ANC leaders know far to well what the importance of Telecoms is, that is why they are not keen on pushing forward. Simply put, telecoms = information to the people. And if you give information out freely, people will become more educated and less single minded on their choice of who runs the government.

If one would like to equate Education to Infomation == Knowledge

Then I am afraid that you are going to be dissapointed.

Rhodesia / Zimbabwe at one stage had one of the best school systems in the World with a very hig standard.

Unfortunately it did NOT help much in a choice of Government

IF you think that the only thing holding this country back is a lack of information
then I am afraid that you are in for a BIG reality check

Besides -- when the "Jungle Drums" played EVERYONE could hear and understand the message ( and I am actually being quite serious )

You're farting against thunder because you're just accepting what you getting... The rest of the world has interactivity, streaming video and more. You seem to be quite content with using it to just send text emails

I have not downloaded anything this month, nor have I watched any video. I have, however, browsed plenty of websites with pictures. So, I don't just use it for email. There is one week left this month, and I have only used 2.5GB, and I'm online a lot. Like I said, if you guys pace yourselves you will be happy with your Internet.
