Telecoms Sales Consultant

We are currently recruiting for external Sales Consultants with a technical sales background and knowledge of the IT infrastructure and networking environment in South Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Market and sell telecoms and networking technology products and services/solutions to businesses.
• Lead generation via cold calling, networking, existing leads list nurturing and qualification, and via existing channel partner relationships.
• Establish sound working relationships and maximise opportunities with prospective clients.
• Build inspiring client relationships by understanding and exceeding client needs while ensuring complete professionalism at all times.
• Utilise exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to gain client trust in our business and you.
• Meet and exceed targets set by management.
• Construct, present, and negotiate custom proposals for customers.
• Ability to sell at a high level
• The selected candidate will be required to perform account management responsibilities to ensure compete customer satisfaction, as well as to demonstrate their upselling and cross-selling abilities.
• Reporting of information and data within the organisation

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with a min of 2 years’ experience in generating new business
• Min 2-3 years experience in a sales position
• Proven track record
• References available
• Ability to travel nationally
• Natural cold calling abilities essential
• Knowledge of the broadband and IT market in South Africa
• Ability to think on your feet and the ability to present solutions to clients
• Portray a high degree of professionalism, confidence and technical ability to close a sale
• Be energetic, tenacious, and proactive to achieve set targets
• Ability to plan and organise work effectively
• Valid code 08 drivers license and have your own reliable transport with no offences
• ISP, VOIP, VPN, PBX, Cisco knowledge a bonus

Remuneration:

R10k per month basic plus high commissions. OTE R700k to R900k p.a
