Telefunken 9inch Tablet from Game for R999 - Worth it?

I want a tablet for my 3yo to play educational games on in the car when we travel and at home. When she is not using it I will stand it on the kitchen counter with the CCTV app running to display the camera's at home.

Is this decent for R999?

That's why it looks like a good deal to me. Most Tablets in the grand price range are only 7inch

Battery is a bit on the weak side, and 1024 x 600 at 9 inch is going to look horrible, 7 inch can just - just get away with that. The fact that it is on special tells you that much . Consider the screen type as well, not particularly wow factor !

Yes you can get a 10 inch tablet with a 6000mAh for just over a grand if you know where to look, and willing to wait 3 weeks to import.Nice price but meh..

1024 X 600 is really bad for a 9" screen.....It already looks terrible on a Tab 3 Lite which is 7"

Got one for my daughter. Now i wish i had not. She can't play games because apps just close every 5 mins. I know that nu world makes this rubbish. Bought it from game. They will probably send it back to nuworld and it will come back unrepaired.
