Telephone Number distribution

Hey peeps

I'm trying to find out how the telephone numbers are distributed in terms of city. I have the doc off the ICASA website that gives a basic breakdown as per province, but that is just for the area code. I'm looking for the numbers after that, that specify the exchange which should give what 'block' of numbers belong to which city/region.

Can anyone help me out here, or point me in the right direction.

Try the following, it's a manual process though: http://www.telkom.co.za/common/pricelist/downloads/tariffdownload.html You can use the Site Info inside that application to get the exchange details

cos i want to sort and index a huge database of telephone numbers
