Telfree Problems

Hi there, I'm im New Zealand and I have a Telfree account I emailed them to get it opened for international access about 6 months ago, and it's been working flawlessly since then. However since yesterday I have discovered that it won't connect, and I can't get a dial tone. My SIP device shows this error "Can't connect to login server"

Is Telfree experiencing problems right now, or would I need to reactivate my account for use in New Zealand?

I hope Telfree can fix this, as we all think that this was one of my best ideas ever, getting a telfree line.


Also yesterday our line splitter died on us, and while awaiting a new one, I'm running our ADSL line without a line filter. Would that effect the VOIP line at all?
 
I suggest asking Telfree if they have problems.

As for the line splitter, I suspect you actually mean filter, it will only affect your DSL modem if someone makes or receives a normal (analog) telephone call, in that your DSL connection will fail and resync. So yes for that moment or time the analog call is in progress then yes you will have no internet access and hence your voip connection will be dead.
