Telkom’s EpicFail

RPM can we as the public take telkom to court over this? Just think how much better our fixed line would have bean if that money was invest here even if it was on 8TA crap.

iir Telkom has a 39.8% government share? Government shares = the countries citizens as a whole are shareholders. Meaningless though. Even when people here are pointed out for idiotic moves like this, corruption, etc nothing really happens to those individuals. They have their cash and they're gone. TIA.

On the one hand it gives me great pleasure to see Telkom so rapidly self-destruct through their own arrogance and ignorance. On the other hand I think their demise will make things more difficult for consumers as they're going to be reluctant to lower prices as they see the South African consumer as their fail-safe cash-cow.

Very interesting and valid comments by user "garp".

I wish they could just slap an 802.11n router on every exchange and on every tower they own in that vicinity so that users could at least get access via wifi. www.open-mesh.com looks like a very attractive solution to fast-track great numbers online using off-the-shelf infrastructure.

Telkom should just pay out their profits in dividends in future, at least the bulk of the money representative of the current shareholding will stay in the country.

telkom epic fail

redundency much?

i'm appalled and downright disgusted at this. but then again i'm just a defenceless consumer so who am I to say anything.

cant we toyitoyi infront of these bastards' offices or something? boycotting their services is impossible
