And porn, don't forget porn! I was once part of the team that setup the rage expo at the dome a couple of years ago and we set up the DC server. The amount of porn that people were sharing was insane!

They really need to change the venue. This venue is too small for the number of people they are trying to stuff into it.

That is why I have not been going for the past 2 years and why I will not be going this year. It's not fun moving around without bumping into someone.

And then the aircon.....DOES NOT WORK....or there are just too many people in the dome for the aircon to have an affect.
 
and Rage has become a game/hardware mall. It is not a technology/game showcase it used to be.

I gather with tons of attendees wanting to download patches, updates, drivers and other bollox, you'd need a fast connection.

Seeing as 1 Gbps is available to home customers in USA, Japan and Korea for a while now, 1 Gbps for a con with a tech IT angle is not so outlandish.
