Telkom 25% Discount

Hi Guys

can anybody indicate, on what Telkom takes the 25% discount off? I was fortunate to receive a 25% discount for the next 12 months due to endless issues. But im not sure if its 25% off the voice, or the DSL line or both combined. Can anybody who has received this discount shed some light?

if its 25% off the voice, ill be seriously peeved off. If its 25% off the combined total, then ill be happy

Not sure.. but if I can get my integrated sim working I will be more than happy over and above a 25% discount :)
 
my integrated sim works great... what is not working by the sim Dan?

Can't get it activated.... followed all the instructions etc. But TelkomZA is at it ..

Been about 2 months since I got the SIM . LoL Telkom is really quick in dealing with things.
 
So anybody with a 25% discount care to provide feedback as to where Telkom applies it on? Voice? Dsl line? Or on the entire account as a whole?

That is one very confusing invoice. Basically you getting a 161 discount, but then you only in theory end up with a R44 discount.

So you don't end up with much off your total subscription after the discount.

OK So the 12 months contract of 25% discount on my adsl line have now run out. Called telkom and they say they dont do it anymore..
Anyone got theirs renewed?

Tell them in that case you want to migrate your line to another ISP. Tell them you were very happy with them and the great 25% discount which was such a nice gesture. :)

No, but they applied mine that way. I told them im leaving, because my line has been crap, and i would rather move somewhere. Not that moving somewhere else would have made a difference, but told them at least provide me with a discount to remain a client.

I waited 2 months, emailed them 3 times, waited for their callback, waited some more, then gave up. I called again and cancelled the data, kept the line.
 
My 12 months are also over. Still getting the discount.

Thinking of canceling my 20GB softcap and use the money saved to increase my line speed to 8MB. Got plenty of data with Afrihost.
 
my 12 months discount is also over but still getting the discount. It shows on my invoice each month as Telkom TOC discount of +-R280 month 16 of 12.....

Not complaining :)

Why didn't you take up the integrated data sim. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

Yeah, I know, but after 2 months of trying I just gave up. For a telecommunications company, Telkom suck at communicating.
