sales said no, I should try billings who promptly sent me back to sales

threatened to cancel my 2 meg since they cannot match the 4 meg prices of other ISP's if I upgraded to 4 mg - they casually gave me an email address to cancel

You need to speak to retentions department and not Sales or Billing.

You need to speak to retentions department and not Sales or Billing.

Retentions department does not exist anymore, and you cannot speak to anyone, you need to send an email now.
After 2 weeks they called me and re-instated my discount for another 12 months.

This is what I emailed:

Hi, I have been receiving the 25% discount, but the 12 month period has lapsed.

Can you please re-instate the discount and contract for another 12 months?

Retentions department does not exist anymore, and you cannot speak to anyone, you need to send an email now.
After 2 weeks they called me and re-instated my discount for another 12 months.

That does not sound correct. I was able to speak to retentions about 2 weeks ago to cancel my isp account and to downgrade my voice part of the line. The lady did all that for over the phone without me needing to email them.

I poke to retentions about 2 weeks back to cancel my telkom isp account and downgrade my voice portion. The lady did everything for me over the phone and was effective immediately and when invoice date came I got charged pro rate with credits.

The tocfaxes email address is not new and has been retentions email for ages. They usually used it when they requested documents like cancellations in writing.

Also called around 2 weeks ago, and that was what I was told when I wanted to speak to cancellations or retention department.
Anyway, thats Telkom.
 
Is there a number for this retentions dept as there certainly is no option on the 10210 number
