When you start a thread, say what operating system you are using, which router and browser, as much information as can be used to help you.
Now, we're all playing raai raai riepa or guess that problem.
If you're running Xp or Vista, click start, click run, type in cmd and press ok.
In vista you just type cmd and click on it.
Now type ipconfig and press enter
Look at your Ethernet Adapter, Local Area Connection, look at the default gateway.
Write down that default gateway and type it into your address bar of your browser.
Enter your username and password and log onto your router, add your ISP details and surf the net. Remember to change your default router password as well.
I'm a bit irritated (not with you, just in general) so I'm not typing as much detail as I can.
If you still can't access your router, hold the reset button at the back for at least 30 seconds and do the process again.
Ciao
Edit: remember, if you've configured a proxy in your browser, you won't be able to access the router, you have to disable the proxy first.
