We just got our telkom account, and was charged R204 for 15gig (local) why is that???

We have do2.

Any light on subject?

Well Telkom is not allowed to cap local, you could have exceeded your "free" local cap which on the do2 is 20Gig, however ist does not make much sense as a local G costs R15.00. In all you should have paid R300 for 15Gigs. Call the accounts dpt and query it.

please check the graph of the last 3 months at https://secure.telkomsa.net/titracker//index.jsp
if your local usage is under 20 gig every month, demand credit

Toe dit nog R25 per gig was toe kon jy nog wegkom me dit. Maar hulle het dit in julie ek dink verander no R15 n GB toe, toe begin hulle jou n rekening stuur as jy 1mb oor is.

DO NOT exceed on local usage. From july 09 they started charging even if you only exceed 1mb.

In the past you could have gotten away with it not anymore!
