If they allow what they allow, why not get a 2GB instead of a 3GB? Or doesn't the pool (2 x 10 = 20 vs. 3 x 10 = 30) leave room to play with?

I see.

- Once cap is reached.

Standard
# Both local and international bandwidth is disabled on the ADSL link
# Can still access the Internet over a dialup connection

Advanced
# International access speeds is throttled
# No impact on local access speed
# Can access the Internet over a dialup connection

Good point. I can't see why anyone would still want a 3GB account.

Since hard capping was introduced, that isn't valid anymore.

If I sign up now online, how much will they charge me for this month? Or will it only start next month?

I'm not 100% sure but I think they charge you for part of the month. Phone them and ask.
