Hi,

Telkom made cap changes sometime last year where they uppded the account limits for free.

My account ends in @dsl.2gbsh.telkomsa.net - does that mean I have a 2GB account or is it a 3GB account now since the change?

I cannot remember.

Thanks and Regards,
J

Should be 3GB. You can't get a 2GB account with Telkom anymore. It is either 1GB,3G or 5GB .

Or simply put, my account ends the same as yours, and i have 3GB.

Should be 3GB, there are no 2GB accounts anymore with Telkom. It is either 1GB,3G or 5GB .

Thats exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.

Also there is no more softcapping right? You get capped on your allocation exactly. E.g. no 1.5x or 2x cap anymore?

Thanks
J

I still have an account that ends in "512dsl" from 2001, even though I've been on a 4mb line since the start of that service.

I don't think it makes a difference.

If you still have your log in details, go to the Telkom website and check your bandwidth usage and the details will be there.
