How will it benefit me?

Does that mean that all of this is freee when getting connected to adsl????
how would this work?

Small print: "The packages are subject to the signing of a 24-month contractual agreement, with penalties based on a sliding scale for early cancellation.".

They want to sign you up for two years before www.Neotel.co.za starts to offer broadband.

Why do they bundle so many things together. What about if you just need a copper line for ADSL, and no phone services.

Yes it does - as long as you happy to sign a 24-month contract and as long as you require all the services listed (i.e. if you allready have a telephone line you will not benefit from the free line installation). In addition by going the self-install route you can also avoid paying for the adsl installation cost and be aware that the included telkom router is not the best value for money option around.
The advantage of this route if you do need all the free benefits is that should nothing better become available over the two year period it represents a true saving.

AFAIK the cancellation penalties work out at 1/24 of the initial saving for each month that the contract is stopped before expiry of the two years so in effect if you require all the services offered for free and then need to cancel before 24 months have passed you just pay the portion outstanding then.
