Hi folks

For the second time in six month Telkom has decided that it will be a good idea to discontinue our ADSL service without notice or reason. This time we tried to upgrade the line…somehow I guess the terms ‘upgrade’ and ‘disconnect’ are interchangeable when it comes to phone or ADSL lines.

After this incident we are compiling a report on problems with the ADSL service. If you have had a bad experience with Telkom’s ADSL service can you please mail Cara at ‘cara[at]myadsl.co.za’ The more details the better (response times will be great if you can remember how long it took to fix). We feel it is time that this issue is addressed in the open…

Comments welcome!

Regards,

RPM

Well, now that you mention it, something funny did pop up today. I gave my obligatory month notice to Telkom to discontinue one of my extra ISP accounts with them. I thought it would stop working at the end of the month. Nope. They cut it off today! Less than an hour after my email…

I sure as hell hope they don’t try and charge me for it…

Cheers
Antowan

I ordered an upgrade to 384 last week monday, still havent been done. supposedly it should only take 24 hours

Whos the Telkom spy in this forum, thats all I think. Their getting irritated because of our scratching and whoever as my witness, Telkom will lose durbanville exchange permanently if they try this move on me.
