Telkom ADSL Self-Install failure

He wasn't able to sort it out today because the system was down, but it should be done by tomorrow... will keep you posted!

Ok so here's the good news: a telkom technician was able to sort out the syncing problem... Yaaaaaay

The bad news:I used my newly synced line to verify the line on the telkom site and it worked perfectly. 2 hours later and I'm still not connected. I've entered all the relative details on my router, username password vpc/vci etc. All I get is a red Internet light, the dsl light stays green.

Now what could the problem be?!

ISP problem.

Try logging in with:
Username: guest@telkomadsl
Password: guest

Does anyone know all the correct settings for a dlink router with telkom as the ISP?

I swear just as I had given up and said that tomorrow is aother day and I'm about to leave my room I stop and think.....wait the router has been reset, let me put the details in again in case it magically decides to work.

Then voila!
