Telkom ADSL, WiFi Maximum distance.

Hi there,

What is the maximum WiFi distance for a Telkom ADSL Router with a D-Link DWA 110?

Need to connect the shed in the back yard, yes line-of-sight is possible, approximate distance 60 meters.

Any low cost suggestions?

put a higher gain antenna onto the unit if the antenna is removable, otherwise for 60m just run a lan cable

Has the shed an electrical power point? If it does and it is feeding from the same db, try using a PLC. It costs in the region of 500 to 800

The DWA-110 did the trick.
Problem solved for under R300 ;-)
