Yes it's possible ! Just buy the 'Data only' package rather than the 'MWEB All Inclusive' package which includes line rental. http://www.mweb.co.za/adsl/ - it's right there =)

Well it's kinda pointless to split if you've got uncapped, so I think he just means he'd like to pay for & have both services available, maybe to try out mweb uncapped without having to lose the option of failsaving back onto TelkomInternet XD

I can see you'll do very well in politics. You'll confuse the sh|t out of the voters

i assume you mean being able to choose between which one you want to connect?
if its in any way related to splitting traffic or something i suggest you ask Pada - he is like some sorta RSA Guru...

but basically sign up for both accounts...
Set router to bridge mode ( if it can) ...
Go to control panel>network settings> Create a New Connection... (vista and win7)
select Connect to The Internet...
then click Broadband (PPPoE)....
enter your login Details for the Mweb account...
then create another one for the telkom account...

assuming everything worked you should now be able to choose which one you want to connect to in the same place where you connect to Wireless networks/networks in the bottom right of the taskbar.

if you want to use one account for international and one for Local download Pada's Traffic Splitter and registry tweak...

run the tweak...
reboot...
install traffic splitter...
select the account you want for Local and International and click connect for each...

should be working 100% now or have i left something out?

EDIT: the max you can still bring down is limited to your line speed...

eg. If you have a 4mb line you can still only bring down about 470kb/s at one time. So if you are downloading something on both accounts at once the max you can get from each is 235kb/s.

basically im using telkom since i need a stable international link as mweb is prone to disruptions. I want to use both accounts but switch between the two as I want to use the mweb account simply to download. I have a telkom netgear dg834gu v5 router wirelessly and runnin windows 7 .. im a complete noob with regards to using to isp's at the same time. I'll give it a go as soon as my mweb data gets connected but thanks for the help..

Rather get a Cybersmart uncapped account, then you don't have to get both...

See TRL Tech, mentioned n other threads or call them on 0419615158

cybersmart requires an international usenet server, which isnt free unlike news.mweb.co.za
