Description
The Telkom App provides customers with an easy-to-use portal in order to manage their voice and data needs.

Log faults, check balances and more from the convenience of your Android device.

Features include:
•Telkom Direct Store Locator – Using your Android’s built in camera, pan your surroundings to locate a nearby store.
•Promotions – View the latest promotions
•Fault Management – Log and track faults for any issues you may be experiencing on your line
•Order Management – Track orders for any new purchases you have requested
•View Balance – Get your latest billed balance, and view the last amount paid at your convenience

Note: You will require a valid associated ID for authentication on any account related activity

Google Play Store

Also available in iOS

Worked a few times, but does occasionally return an error when punching in a land line number :/

Not working for me getting invalid ID error

Glad to see going this direction.
The balance is the only noteworthy feature so far.

Some things I would really like to see:
  • Better ticket tracking system for faults logged incl. queries, feedback, follow ups, status updates etc.
  • The addition of using account number when logging in (especially during line transfers)
  • Management of services (enabling/disabling, up/downgrades, etc.)
  • Enough options to significantly reduce relying on the dreaded call center
  • Remember login details

I tried using the ""Log a Fault" and got "There seems to be a problem with your service. Please call 10210 or visit your nearest branch" which is ironic since Online shop locator says
Please Note that no Land-line services are available in this store
with almost every store I tried selecting (not that I`m sure what the land-line provider means with that phrase)

I must say I`m am rather impressed by Vodacom`s Android app so far, even though it was better before the latest upgrade.
