Telkom being sabotaged.

Been going through the same call res cycle myself over the last 2 weeks at home. I love the rain but forgot that in SA ADSL and rain cant work together at the same time.

What really drives me insane is that the department that closes the calls, dont have to register the name of the person who closes the call, so there is no way to trace who actually cleared a fault without reasoning, and you have to spend an hour holding again to re-open, and then re-explain everything..

It now makes sense though why telkom brags about clearing all faults in 48 hours.. they are being cleared.. but are never being fixed and we cant track it to prove them wrong
 
Well, I am still out of service, and it is now been out since the weekend of the 18/19th of Oct - the best part is the runts just keep on deducting.

A while back we had access to one of the folders on the Telkom website, with tons of contact numbers on, please would anyone that still has it or able to recall the path, please post it up here,

I need to be able to get past the call centre and I am being blocked , because they refuse to give out the other contact numbers.

My month long fight with Telkom has finally been resolved.

I have been battling to get in contact with someone that is able to resolve the matter.

Everyone in the call centre just seemed to block my progress and the escalations from the managers seemed to dissapear into thin air, as everytime I call back, there is no escalation visible.

Telkom insisted it was cable theft/damage - I pointed out it wasn't.

Eventually they sent out a cable guy yesterday only to find - it was not the cable and then they sent the tech today and matter is resolved now.

The sad thing is , it has taken them a month to resolve a simple matter.

I just want to say thank you very much to :D Tsego Mabe :D- ** my star of the week **- She managed to get done in 3 days , what no other person has managed in all of a month.

As promised by the day after she had the senior manager of the cable division in on a conference call with me - I have been begging for this and no-one was prepared to arrange that. Solly promised to have a cable guy out there - lo an behold the cable chap pitched up and done his bit.

Bright and early this morning the tech guy came - matter is now resolved I have a phone line (here's hoping the adsl line remains stable and synch's correctly as well).

Thank you to Tsego Mabe & Solly for keeping to their promises. :D :D

The rest of the call centre staff and management (Including Rose Kaba, Sam Kud005) of 0800375375(this goes out to Durban, Cape Town and Jhb) - I hope you find anthrax filled christmas stockings hanging over your desks for the festive . Die!!!!:mad:
