I need help please. The telkom cable in our area was stolen for the third time in 1 year on the 20th of Feb 2018 and obviously telkom decided not to replace the cable. I got a integrated sim card from telkom in September 2017 when the cable was stolen for the 2nd time and needed to buy mobile data all the time which in comparason to my ADSL uncapped package was costing me a fortune. Is there some one who can tell me how to link this sim card to my existing data package as telkom is not able to assist me. I also need to know if there is a way that one can use this sim card in a mega100WR router to connect to the internet.

Look at cancelling and getting fibre? Especially if Telkom doesn't want to replace like for like, or look at getting a LTE packages.

This happened to us as well at the beginning of last year, but fortunately the fibre came along within 6 months.

Try to get Openserver fibre in your area, hopefully they have it, even though we haven't had cable theft here I am still happy to be safe on Fibre. Sometimes people's ADSL lines here go off for some days in our area, but our fibre stays stable :).

Welcome to the club. My Adsl has been down since beginning January 2018 due to cable theft and they also decided not to replace the cables. Currently they haven't provided me with any other service but they expect me to still pay for the months that they have not been providing me with a service.

And I'm sitting with 2 TB of rollover adsl data with my ISP that I will never be able to use
