Probably the right forum?
I have the following problem, and I keep on getting conflicting answers from Telkom agents.
My ADSL rental is with Crystal Web. I cancelled that the 21st of October 2016. On the same day, I sent Telkom a formal written cancellation request.
Now, I understand they can't cancel my services before Crystal Web returns my ADSL rental to the Telkom holding pool. It will be returned after the end of this month (1 December 2016).
According to their agents I will have to resubmit my cancellation request, and give another 30 days notice. That means I have to pay for December as well, and I'm liable for any charges the new tenant in my old flat racks up.
I read through the contract it seems like I only have to give 20 business days notice. Considering that I have followed their procedure, why should I resubmit it? By forcing me to resubmit and pay for unsolicited services, isn't Telkom breaching the contract?
Regards
