Telkom Capping

Hi,

Is there a way of getting around the Telkom cap? I have a 6GB ADSL account and I am REALLY struggling to download w2k8 eval software. It keeps crashing on me and I need to restart each time. This has made a HUGE dent in my measly 6GB.

Apart from buying more BW is there another way of getting around this?

I don't think Telkom offer a 6GB ADSL account unless you are purchasing top-up bandwidth.

AFAIK you will only be allowed to exceed your TI capping level if their usage tracker is faulty which happens quiet frequently - otherwise you are automatically disconnected when you reach the specified limit.

If it drops frequently and it is a once off download why don't you use something like EMule , the software allows you to carry on with your download
