Telkom fixed my neighbours phone and disconnected my phone and two other people who are connected from the same pole. On reporting the lady said if it was an internal wiring fault it would be for my account. Telling this person that the dis started as the tech was working in the distribution box made no difference, she insisted that unless I agreed nothing would happen. I said that two other subscribers had been disconnected at the same time. She said that these were separate jobs and could not be combined
So I hung up and asked the one neighbour, who is a British Airways ground support manager and whose phone is paid for by BA to report it.
