Our port needed a reset today because our ADSL was extremely sluggish and this sometimes helps for a short while.
10210 is non-functional most of the time, so I tried the Telkom chat service. I had to give a name, number and e-mail and wait.
I waited for quite a while but nobody responded after 15 minutes. Then I had some things to do and inadvertently left the chat open.
I noticed it hours later, but there was still no sign of any chat and the screen was blank.
Surely they should follow convention and have a facility to send a copy of the chat at termination. Simply just to blank out the page is just silly. I have noticed that Telkom don't follow any IT conventions and their web pages appear to be 'thrown' together.
Are they hiring self-taughts or do they farm the work out to juniors?
