Telkom cuts uncapped fibre prices

Price is still a bit steep here I pay R985 with VOX for 50 down and 5 up, that's cheaper than Telkoms 20 and 40 packages and not to mention I don't have FUP :ROFL:

apples and oranges if comparing openserve to any other fibre provider that doesnt deal with IPC.

I wish people knew what the profit margins on fibre was. And that most fibre providers that give you a free to use router only starts showing a profit on the 20th month of a 24 month contract or something.
 
This is just Telkom reverting their prices back to the Pre 15% VAT adjustment pricing, that made the pricing marketing un-friendly.
Can't belive this is being sold as a "price reduction". Its rounding down to the nearest R100 for neatness on pricelists

That's a 1TB FUP to half speed if I remember correctly, after that it's halving every 250; was checking it out when I was moving to fiber.

From R1007 to R999 basically back to where it was before the VAT increase ;) My guess is the psychological barrier is at play here. For some R999 sounds way better than R1007.
