Telkom Direct Xbox 360

Hey, 2 days ago I inquired at my local telkom direct store about the xbox 360 special, I asked the people there to keep one for me as they didnt have any stock, its been 2 days now, still no stock, should I keep my hopes up or just move on?

I tried called "e'customa serviece" but as always no proper service was received, I tried to get hold of whoever supplied the products so I could at least gain some sort of idea as to when the 360's might make an appearance.


Your thoughts/experiences on the matter?

I waited 3 days and then hit down another store ..... they had stock. Don't give up on it, just 'shop' around, you'll score :D
 
problem is im kinda stuck to this one store *telkom direct Menlyn mall*, So fingers crossed they get some stock tomorrow at least.
 
hope you come right sooner rather than later ...... and when you do, and you're a 1st time Xbox chap ...... welcome to the fold brother :D
 
Well i see they are open till 8 tonight and late tomorrow, do you think their courier services run at those times? Sorry i must come off as a tad insane but i want a box badly :D
 
hmm, I have no idea ....... all you can do is phone 'em constantly :o
 
lol, wish i could, apparently Telkom Direct dont use public phones. which sucks, oh well...
 
Is the Xbox360 offered by telkom the pro with an HDMI port?

... just phone Telscum general inquiries .... once they realise they will make more money, plans get made quick quick ;)

For 3000 I would then rather get the pro. The games they give you with the Telkom deal don't seem like the greatest; And you don't have to worry about the telkom stock issues
 
aah yes, but paying off R100 a month on your phone bill is easier to digest than 3k upfront ;):D
 
Very true; I was also tempted by deal when it first came out. But most of the telkom shops didn't even know what I was talking about.

xbox???? What's an xbox???? no xbox here :)
 
How long is the contract 24months @ R108? Or longer? How much do you payoff in the end?
 
yeah it's 36 ..... which is like :eek: at first but then you think about having an Xbox now @R108 pm only ... and it outweighs that reflex :D

Sorry to ask, but obviously I am missing something here... Why are you tied to the store?
