Hi guys
In yesterday’s “This Day” there was an article named “Dirty Tricks in store for Telkom competitor” written by Phillip de Wet. This article takes an interesting look at how traditional telephone monopolies compete against new incumbents.
“Telkom’s new competitor should expect all manner of dirty tricks when it launches, an industry watcher has cautioned. Operators throughout the world have managed to delay and frustrate new competitors, said Nick White, a vice chairman of the International Telecommunications Users Group, on Friday” This article goes on to describe some of these “dirty tricks. Well worth a read if you can get your hands on a copy.
I got in contact with this journalist, and they don’t seem to be scared of saying it like it is. I will forward some information about MyADSL to him for use in future articles.
Regards,
RPM
