Telkom discount for retirees

My dad turned 60 this year and has a SASSA card

When I spoke to Telkom they said he would get a discount on both the voice and ADSL portion, yesterday he told me they said only the voice portion.

Can someone confirm which is true?

Voice portion only, as far as I know.

How did he qualify for it since my mom is 61 and was a Government worker for 30 years then got medical boarded?

What's stopping your dad from getting the voice discount and then phoning and getting the 25% discount on the adsl?
Do the retirement discount first and then call cancelations and ask for 25% on adsl line.
