Telkom Do premium 10 mb @ R699.00

Hallo

Looooooooong story short, anyone on this package that can confirm what they are paying. Every other person at Telkom has a different answer whether the price advertised is Vat including or excluding. Im getting billed R800.00 for this package.

VAT included. Actually everything included. Not sure why you pay R800. Can show us your bill ?
 
Mine used to work out to around about that. There were all these "additional" call packages attached that I somehow could never get rid of, no matter who I spoke to, that pushed the price up. Weekender, etc.

They did the install 3 days after I ordered and didn't charge me for it, so there's that, I suppose.
 
That was my thought also. Will post bill. But this was my last correspondence. With the some person 2 different answers.telkom1.pngtelkom2.png
 
Hmm it is a strange indeed, when I was on Do Premium mine came to R772.99 (that was in 2015). I downgraded to the R549 4mbps package and got billed exactly that.

That looks as confusing as a Telkom's exchange box.

But seems you have weekender plan added too at R180.70. Which still does not add up properly.

Do you use the weekender ? If not just make them change it to a basic premium account which is R699 flat.
 
Thanks I also think its something to do with the weekender but for telkom to correct is another story.

I had mine changed not so long ago, was about 20mins on the phone :p Good luck. Phone late Friday afternoons, they not busy then.

Nothing wrong with your bill in terms of discount and credits.

R789.47 + 14% vat (R110.52) - R96.49 credit for do premium bundle = R803.50 - R699 = R104.50

So you you need to figure out why you paying R104.50 extra. The weekender plan is contributing to this and what about calls that got billed and if there is a short payment for last month then it will show on the invoice as balance carried forward.

Could also be because of pro rata discounts and charges for last month that you might have missed a few rands when paying your invoice.
 
Billing up to date paid last months bill in full also over R800.00.

This months calls were R15.00

I have logged a dispute 2 weeks ago also but its still open.

Will see if I can post my complete bill.

Okay have to figure out where the extra charges are coming from then because something is not adding up somewhere.
 
Mine is R715.99 but it includes the Telkom evening and weekender calling plan. :)

haha me neither, besides the odd Skype and Teamspeak. I just use my cellphone, still got an age old package with MTN ( R110 a month ) and it accumulated to a cap of R600 worth of airtime per month. So I never have to use my land line to make calls.
 
40 min and counting on line with telkom back to sales to billing to sales to billing back to sales. Last time Im trying just going to cancel the lot after this call and maybe start from scratch.
