Telkom DO3

I don't think so - this is fromTelkom site :

TopUp need to know!
· An unshaped ADSL account can be topped up with additional unshaped
blended only
· A shaped ADSL account can be topped up with additional shaped blended
only
· All additional bandwidth purchased in a particular month will be available
in the same month of purchase only and will be forfeited when the new
calendar month starts. Therefore additional bandwidth purchased cannot
be transferred from one month to the next.
· Blended bandwidth (shaped or unshaped) will always be consumed first;
thereafter you will be moved to the local only bandwidth, once you have
reached your blended cap. This implies that should you be using your local
only bandwidth and TopUp with blended bandwidth, upon the next login
the blended bandwidth will receive priority (to be utilized first) and once
consumed you will be moved back to your available local only bandwidth.

· When you are using your local bandwidth and purchased additional
blended bandwidth you will have to disconnect your Internet DSL
connection and reconnect.
· Additional bandwidth can be purchased in increments of 1 gig up to 99
gigs per transaction. There is no limit on the number of transactions.
· Additional bandwidth purchased cannot be refunded or exchanged for
cash.
·

I'm with lexor on this one - AFAIK you get 0 local when topping up.

That sucks :(
Thanks man

yep, someone who posts here actually got billed for going over their local allocation after the topup.

if you really need 10gig of local, you could consider another 1gig account for R69,30, you'd cancel before month end?
