TELKOM E-mail Account setup

Previously I had a landline with ADSL, which I cancelled in November 2014. I then applied for the 8TA dongle and to date have had not luck with the Tech support centre to set up my Telkom E-mail address which was [email protected]. I have spent hundreds of rands on cell phone calls and have had no luck so far. I am seriously considering cancelling my contract and going to another provider. In the meantime I've set up a Yahoo e-mail address to get by.

Please regard this as urgent.

1. I would never use an isp email account. Makes things difficult when you want to change isps.
2. Rather setup a Google Mail account, lots more space, integrates with other google services, can use it from any isp anywhere in the world, great spam filter. Never have to worry about your mail account when changing isps.
3. Posting your email address in the open like that is a sure way to invite spam before you've even started using it.
