I have a telkom adsl account and email account, setup on a freshly installed Win XP PC with Outlook 2007 as the mail client. All was working fine, but am all of a sudden unable to succesfully send to any gmail accounts, the mails go through, sometime i get the 0x80042109 error, have googled the fix, tried changing the encryption and ports etc, still no luck. Loaded the same acc details on a freshly installed pc win Win 7 and Outlook 2013 as the client, same error, can email any account except gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc. When i login to the telkom webportal and send email with this acc it works fine.
Cant get through to anyone at Telkom who will run with the error for me as it is clearly the account - any ideas or advice please?
Firewalls disabled, no AV or anything running
