Telkom faces pay strike

Telecommunications giant Telkom is facing a pay strike, trade union Solidarity said on Tuesday.

and it's going to be another year that my ADSL goes down during the strike. pathetic they strike every year.

these employees need to understand, when services start to get to expensive, people will not use them which means that those employees will be retrenched, and this is what they don't realize, they are a specialized set of skills, and due to the monoply, there's very few jobs available to these employees.

Think twice pls,for the fact that Telkom hold entire network even cellular networks companies will suffer somewhere somehow should Telkom go on strike,people who dnt have businesses won't understand how it feels when telkom is on strike,it happened last time. so Telkom pls give your employees better salary not 5% bcs at the end we customers will suffer most.

What have their employees done to deserve more than a 5% increase?
