Has anyone else been experiencing incredibly terrible connectivity since the beginning of December with Telkom Fiber

Yes, it look like Telkom is cocking up the provisioning, Try and get a new IP that works better by rebooting.

Repeat until you have success.

PS: Don't use Telkom as an ISP but I have older family members who don't want to change...

Absolutely a disaster. I have reported the fault 3 times. Connectivity for me is a mess here (Bryanston).
Even the speed test on http://telkom-saix.speedtestcustom.com gives timeout. Not able to send emails and many other issues. I have a 200/100 Mbs fibre! Just waiting for next week to migrate somewhere else. Any advise about a reliable 200/100 Mbs service provider? I work on VPN with my offices and run some Linux server at home for software development.

I had coolideas. They were outstanding, decided to migrate to telkom for the caller 100 and fiber package. Regret it so much

Happy to assist with a test account. Drop me a PM and will get it set up so you can get connected while you decide.

you the designated family IT guy, in that case, I know your pain.
I’m a software developer and that used to be me but for basically every normie in town who think I will fix their malware infested machines.

So I switched to Mac and now I just pull the Apple card.

“Umm yea, I use a Mac so my knowledge is with Windows is almost nothing, maybe take it to (xyz computer fixing store), they would know best.
