Telkom has changed its Vision

A leading communications company
with a heart for our people.

Who exactly is "our people" - Telkom's shareholders?
'cause it ain't their workers or their customers
 
As I posted in another thread previously: Telkom's core business is not reflected in its vision and the vision is therefore misleading. Telkom's core business is capping internet users and therefore its vision must be:
Telkom - We disconnect!
 
Well if they are living by their vision statement, they should do the following:

1) on "We will act with honesty and integrity" fire all their spin doctors who have lied in the past year(note absolute untruths not just spin)

2) on "We will promote an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit." get rid of your legal department that enforces petty rules to prevent any competition such as the road crossing or competitor DSLAMS in the exchanges

3) on "We will not sacrifice or give up on any of our values" if you refer to the previous 3 values, then you have fasiled miserly and shoulsd publish your real set of values:

I doubt that they have any vision. They must be blind as bats not too see that they are the losers of the world when it comes to providing broadband. Pity they're so blind, a whole company living in one massive illusion or bubble.
 
Typical Telkom! They always try to baffle the world with BullCrap!

These values are currently not worth the space it occupies on their server. In their dealings with MyADSL they have shown that honesty, integrity and the people count very little in their books.

telkom have forgotten the first rules of business:

1. Satisfied customers are happy customers
2. The customer is always right
3. Adapt or die :D
 
I never knew Telkom had vision in the first place! How are they going to change anything?

I just thought for a moment Telkom were referring to us the South African Public as they referred to "enriching peoples' lives daily", but I must be mistaken as they must certainly mean, enriching shareholders lives daily.

What a load of BS.
 
Telkom vision is "money money money" the rest is a spin . So Telkom hasn't changed his vision
 
Some telkom employee sucked that "vision" out of his thumb to put on the website....nothing more. I bet no one at telkom even knows what this "vision" is....really if it wasn't so sad it would have been funny. The only ppl they care about are their shareholders and themselves!
 
They probably outsourced the creation of their vision statement to some marketing company. A lot of corporations do that. Just put some stuff together that sounds snappy and there you go.
