They will be paid, but only for the actual days worked up until the last day of the month.

The CEO has already said that besides those responsible being charged criminally they are also going to pursue civil cases against them as well, But will the civil cases cover the costs of the damage and the money spent on the investigations?

As to who will lose the most, the jury is still out on that one....

They jury has returned with a verdict many moons back.

The entire field force will be outsourced in the next year or so. There are two or three companies waiting in the wings...

No, the jury returned a verdict ages ago....

Giving in to this criminal element must stop, and the criminal element must be shown what the inside of a jail cell looks like.

They can also choose not to give in to blackmail and sabotage. Compromises are the name of the game in an industrial action, sometimes the employer wins and sometimes the unions win.

No, there is no compromise after the sabotage.

0% increase (since the sabotage now needs to be fixed), and all those involved can face the wrath of the law, and the civil cases to recover the costs.

I was not aware that the 0% increase is because of the sabotage, I thought that's what caused the strike in the first place?

Nope, they had agreed to a 6% increase from what I can gather from new reports, and were ready to sing barring one "legacy" issue being resolved.

Something is very wrong with the minds of South Africans when it comes to not getting what we need. We become so short sighted that we are like young kids throwing tantrums in a candy store.
 
a few cheap IP camera's at strategic points should not cost too much. A small solar panel and 8ta sim should do the trick!

I think you fail to understand the scale of Telkoms network if you think such an amateurish "surveilance" solution is even practical.
 
Eight sites were damaged, so at least 8 people involved. Does that mean they're prepared to pay R500k for info on each one?

There's R4m waiting for a bounty hunter...
