Hi Guys...sorry if this has been answered in other posts. There are so many related threads on the forum so I thought I could get a straight answer here...so apologies in advance.
so I recently took out a simple premium plus package which is effectively the 4mb line offer. Now I do a speed test and the results show that its around 3.1mbs download and about 0.40 upload. I live in Umhlanga and I believe that the exchange is ISAM which can go up to 40Mbs. I verified this on the Telkom adsl checker. So with the recent upgrades should I be getting a higher speed or is my present speeds correct? I think the exchange is a couple of roads away from me? I read people getting higher speeds on this 4mb package without doing anything....ISAM is meant to be newer technology at the exchange.
any advice or should I be happy with what I have?
