Telkom Internet Capped Accounts January

Tell me if I am correct. As long as you have an active session you won't get capped? As soon as your session ends and your router goes into "standby" Telkom "checks" your account to see if your supposed to be capped or not and when a new session begins it will not allow international because your over your cap? On SAIX site its says it doesn't report the usages until the session ends. My question now is, how do I keep an active session?

I've had many a download stop during download because i've been capped. Until recently around the 6GB mark on Do3 and recently around the 3GB mark.

so it looks the 6gb threshold on the 3 gig accounts is not going that far anymore ?
i see most account only make eg: 1gb = 1.3 or 3gb = 3.4 etc
is a telkom 3gig account still worth it ?

Last month I kept a local download running past the monthend.
It remained on the local IP address and counted towards local usage in the new month.
I eventually stopped it because I wanted international.
