Same issue here. Few friends as well.
Funnily enough, a friend using MWEB is having an issue that is, at least, presenting identical symptoms.

I have no problems on my Afrihost capped account though.

Actually I didn't look in detail at hops 13-15 before, it's weird that hop 8 shows such high latency with a relatively low variance while the following ones show much lower latency.
