Anyone else having problems with their uncapped account?
Last night and this evening pings of 1250+ and can't get speeds over 30kb/s.

Western Cape / Paarl area.
4mb uncapped, also tested with Afrihost free account during these time, but all fine thus not exchange related.

No issues by me, ping is at 34 and speed is maxed out from a quick speed test.

Most likely, reset your router and see for any changes

Same here in Gauteng. 1300 ms ping and 0.12Mbps download. No upload. Router reporting virtually no data flowing (will go over my graphs tomorrow night to co firm). Trace routes looking good. Unusable. Guess I'll have to log a ticket.

Speed tests are fine my side, but buggerall works. Can't game, can't stream, nothing.

Clearly telkom cant handle all the cheap upgrades they offered out last month.

Havnt been able to watch twitch at all this month, doesnt go over 40kb/s.

Same. Couldn't even load the Telkom website.

Oddly enough I've never been able to stream from Twitch smoothly at all. Always lagged.

No problem with Youtube or browsing here though it is a bit sluggish, international ping however is in the 500-800ms mark

Not certain, but I suspect that the password saved internally on https://customerportal.telkomsa.net/portal/overview/ differed from that saved in http://www.telkom.co.za/today/ or something like that.

Maybe somebody who knows the right answer can explain.

If you log in at customerportal.telkomsa.net, does it show any relevant messages (e.g. browsing at reduced speed)?

If you click on the connectivity tab, does the IP address there match your current IP address (e.g. what speedtest or google or your modem says is your IP address)? If not, disconmect your ppp session on your modem (or reboot it) and check again.

(It sounds like you are being throttled to 384k, so either over quota or have policy applied for someone who is over quota)
