Things have changed more lately. Seem that guys are being throttled at lower usage when compared to the past.
I skeem Telkom is trying to push for us to do our bulk downloads between 00:00 - 06:00

I tried that - didn't seem to work with me - still got capped at about the same usage I did last month when I downloaded at any time.
 
Is it normal to be throttled after using the same amount of bandwidth someone else used on the same account who isn't throttled?

Telkom lagging/buffering (40KB/s download rate)
Afrihost is just fine without a hitch. (160KB/s)

Was fine just a few days ago. Exquisite, actually.

First time I'm hearing about the 12am-6am window, I thought this only applied to IS accounts. Guess I was wrong.

Using Astraweb (paid service) - Cannot get more than 460k a second. (Note I have a 10mb uncapped account with a stable 10mb connection)

Here is a speed test: (Same thing)

I can't seem to download anything that will go past the 4mbps mark.. Would really be nice to see that there is a noted difference between the 4mb and 10mb offering.

Thats rubbish, a lie. I did that this month and got shaped at 250 gb on a 4 meg line

I'm just calling it how I see it dude. Last month when my TiTracker was around 25% I had pulled about 120gigs, this month I've only done just over 60gigs and the TiTracker is at 25%. I haven't done much besides streaming, with hardly any downloading so far.

So you saying I'm lying about my own usage then? What good does that do me or anyone else? Seriously man :wtf:
 
Done 103gb so far. Usage bar just halfway on 'user'
Mostly dl between 0h00 and 09h00 but finished by 06h00. Do some YouTube during evening peaks.
4Mb line.
