I also Got a notification of abuse on Wednesday. I couldn't do anything else until I logged on and accepted their FUP. According to them, I had done 297GB by the 18th of June. There's a day where ive done 32 GB.....

I'm on 4mb uncapped.

Things have changed more lately. Seem that guys are being throttled at lower usage when compared to the past.
I skeem Telkom is trying to push for us to do our bulk downloads between 00:00 - 06:00

Thats rubbish, a lie. I did that this month and got shaped at 250 gb on a 4 meg line

Depends who downloaded between 00h00 and 06h00 abd who didn't.

I was throttled at 110gb on a 2mb when Spamhater's rating was at half on the same account after using the same amount.

I'd rather change ISP than try to deal with Telkom on this.

You don't mention whether you schedule your DL's to 0:00-6:00?

Looks like the MWEB peering is congesting again (after it was upgraded twice in the last 6 months). We have initiatives to resolve this, unfortunately we suffered hardware failure a week ago on the device intended to address this, otherwise we may have seen an improvement already.

All gaming servers were around 10ms to 35ms, except Mweb ones which were over 300ms ping and marked red (ie. don't use them).

That looks like an issue with Mweb's network. Have you tried with another isp account? The results will likely be the same.

Web's been okay. Nothing brilliant nor that terrible. Occasional buffering on twitch and YouTube, but gaming pings have been outstanding.

Things are good, been able to stream with YouTube on a "default" of 720p :wtf:

Other than than being afraid to use my account as an "uncapped" account, things are ok.

Also when does one become a power user?
