Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Not sure if this has been mentioned before on this thread.. Spoke to Telkom today. Softcap on a 4mb uncapped account (Telkom IPS) is 100gig.
Outsourcing 10210 to the sub-continent is long overdue, could solve Telkoms over-staffing problem as well.
 
That is what a techie told me... does anyone know what the actual amount is that?
No fixed amount of GBs, restrict your bulk downloading to 00:00 - 06:00 and you'll do 300GB easy. Start maxing your line 24/7 and you'll probably be lucky to do 200GB before TI kick you into touch.

I can live with 300gigs. If that's the price I pay for having a rock solid connection 24/7 then I'm okay with that. Those backing up the net every month might not though...
If I see I'm hitting orange I just start scheduling to 00:00 to 06:00, did that this month and never left the orange zone, although I only pulled about 140gigs total.
 
Anybody else completely dead on Telkom at the moment. My backup account working like a champ but Telkom no traffic at all.
 
Been fine for the past month...now Hulu buffering. Did around 300GB and was in the orange on 4mbit uncapped

Terrible service. Streaming is impossible and online gaming is atrocious. I wouldn't recommend this product, nor any of Telkom's products, to anyone with the amount of bs that comes with it. It's about time that this actually GETS FIXED. Stop firing people and actually hire more skilled engineers to fix the extremely evident problems.
