Same story again. I see a pattern.

Anyone in durbs having fsck slow internet? Can't even stream 144p youtube videos.
 
I've had 2 days of consistently good speeds on my TI 4mb Uncapped. Hopefully it lasts. I'm suspecting exchange congestion more and more. Will keep monitoring though.

By this time of month, enough people are throttled to allow decent speeds for some of us still standing :p
 
I'm new to TelkomInternet, in fact I just got my line in yesterday. I'm on 4Mb Uncapped, Telkom line, Telkom ISP. I've just come back from Ireland, really missing that 40Mb UPC :)

My line seems a bit flakey - I played a game of Dota yesterday and ping spiked up to 1000+ms a few times, but would also drop to very playable levels. I've turned off Wifi on the Telkom Modem and I blocked everything that wasn't my PC on my Router (Asus RT56).

I ran a few speedtests today and it seemed pretty up and down (again, blocked everything barring the PC I'm on). Is this line noise? I start work in a few days so I'd like to fix everything before then since I can be around in the day if I need to speak to Telkom.

Rather test using the MyBB speedtest, that George server that speedtest.net offers is not the best.

Please post a traceroute, it can give an indication (but not proof) of where the problem lies. I am suspecting DSLAM congestion.

LOL..........ouch. Welcome back ranger-san :D.

Do you guys expect their to be changes on how shaping during business hours are handled with many users going upto 20Mbps? I expect to see usage increase alot but at the same time we don't want to see many complaints that users are reaching RED on their usage page quicker :p. I can't remember if you guys were supposed to get an IPC upgrade? :)

@ponder, thanks for responding but speeds suck after the time you mentioned? I personally haven't seen that yet.
