Crap just had one of those DUH!! moments :) Should have remembered all of that, shows you what old age does to ones brain. Or just spending too much time working and not enough time enjoying life.
 
Anyone else having terrible speeds with Telkom? I have a song streaming on Youtube at 144p, a couple of tabs open of which none are using data and the League of Legends client open. My internet is prcatically at a standstill. League keeps giving me connection timeout errors and it took a good few minutes to load Mybb.

Telkom wtf, I know a 2mb line is slow but this is just ridiculous

Disclaimer: That was from when my line was completely broken. I still average 100+ though. Some weeks my line is perfect, other's it throws a tantrum. The price of living amidst nature.
 
Cant get over 30kb/s for 3 days now, usage portal says im not even half way to a 'power user'.

Paid telkom last week, they cut off my internet on monday due to no payment ? Why ? Because Telkom doesnt want to spend the resources having all the banks for instant transfer, like even mom and pop stores do.

Try get your line and ISP NOT with Telkom if you are going through these threads looking for updated info on current status of ISPS.

Keep a spare 1gb webafrica account handy. Next time you think your 'line is throwing a tantrum' login to the afrihost, you will be amazed. Its not the line, that isnt how lines work. Its telkom, they are a terrible ISP>

How do you explain my 18 connections?
 
4 Days now with a connection locked to 30kb/s and no answer from Telkom.

Also looks like telkomZA on this forum has run for the hills due to not being able to handle all the issues, my lord. Hire some people with half a brain telkom, it will be worth the dime, i promise.
 
TI, webmail, pop server, usage tracker, authentication.... all not accessible atm.

TI capped working here in the southern cape. I only keep the account for the free night-time saix news server access. Vox is my isp for the main.
