Only the TI tracker and SAIX stats not working here. Mail no problem. Then again I never log out or power down my PC 
(and I won't do so until the all ok reports come through!).

Dear Subscriber
In our endeavour to improve customer service, Telkom Internet would like to advise you that there will be system maintenance performed on the mail store hosting your mailbox.
Impact:
You will be able to send and receive mail. Mail older than thirty days that is still stored on the server will however not be accessible for the duration of the change window.
Change Window:
From Friday, 26 February 18:00 until Saturday, 27 February 12:00.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Telkom is being Telkom again...
Authentication issues.
The Telkom guest account connects fine. I have a 10mb uncapped account.
Due to the time taken to restore service, I suspect a DDOS attack one of the main Telkom servers.
Located in Mowbray, Cape Town

Our TI has also been down since this morning. Afrihost working fine.

Yep, been down since before 05:00 when we auto-test the status of ADSL accounts.

I think there might be another pipeline outage. Could be DNS too. Everything is messed up and running slow, on TI and Afrihost.

Telkom really playing up here in the Southern Cape getting extremely high pings varying between 480ms and 1380ms. Are they perhaps working on the network? All started to go downhill yesterday afternoon. Sad because all has been good for a number of weeks now.

10MB uncapped getting timeouts to most sites, International and local, but pings look good (Telkom DNS servers). Switched to backup ISP and all's fine.

Im on 2MB uncapped. Have logged a fault as still getting pings around 900ms. Feels like the bad old days of dial up just very frustrating.

My 10MB Uncapped is back to normal this morning.
No idea what caused yesterdays TI hassles, sites & vpns were still timing out around 14:00 when I tested so I switched to backup ISP until this morning.

Oh my word...to say I have no speed at the moment would be an overstatement of how much speed I have.
Of course I can't give you an actual figure cuz friggin speedtest.net won't even load
Edit: Seems to have thankfully fixed itself sometime in the last few hours.

TI uncapped 2Mbps, can't connect after I switched back on after a thunderstorm. Using Afrihost now and will check again tomorrow.

Telkom Internet 10MB uncapped - 4:45 / 10-3-2016 - Totally dead. Pretoria area.
When trying to connect is says:
Connecting to Server: Failed
Negotiation: LCP down - Failed to authenticate ourselves to peer .
Authentication: PAP authentication failed
(There is no outstanding fees on the account and everything is paid in full)
Afrihost working fine.

Telkom dead as a petrified tyrannosaurus. Afrihost 100%. Also experienced really weird syncing issues, but this seems to have stopped suddenly after logging onto Afrihost. ?
