Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

I think it might be time people of SA take some action instead of sitting back and taking **** in the mouth.

Time to maybe start threatening these ISPS with legal action. They all just sit here and blame telkom lines, which are fine, while they knowingly screw with paying customers bandwidth in effort to not pay what they should for bandwidth needs.

Yes the average South African domkop isnt going to notice his International bandwidth and ping turn to crap, they are most of the time using youtube and netflix and other stuff that has local repos and will run pretty well regardless. But there is more than enough of us people who understand what scam these ISPs are pulling, and could even get a civil case filled.
 
Last night from 4 30pm the internet was properly stuffed. Couldn't get more than 18kbps download on http, windows update, YouTube, so on.
Speed test was about 2mbps on 10mb line.

Telkom fallen over again.

Same problem. It has been since last night! Everything is a struggle from just sending and receiving Voice Notes or pictures on whatsapp to loading of some websites like it will not resolve untill you reload again even youtube from time to time. Yet on other occasions it will load perfectly fine?

Torrents seem to be perfectly fine as well.
20mbps fibre Soft cap
 
I have had serious throttling issues with CAPPED fibre over the last 2 days
Wednesday evening and Thursday evening.. from 4pm onwards.. my fibre goes from 40mb / 20mb to 2mb / 20mb... so like a 95% throttle

Switch to a webafrica account and runs at full speed... call 10210 and they log a ticket for a technician to check my line... they don't seem to actually have ISP support?!
 
Anyone else having issues resolving the pop3 Address? Can't seem to resolve pop3.telkomsa.net at the moment.

Yeah, I'm having the very same issue. Since Wednesday already.

Currently on a VOX DSL account...

Edit: Thanks for the Traceroute, using the IP solves the server not found issue. :)
